4-7 May 2026 Roscoff (France)

DESCRIPTION

This is the fifth annual meeting of the CNRS Groupement de recherche “Interaction, Désordre, Elasticité” (GDR IDE), started in 2022.

It will cover several topics of the GDR on disordered systems, with long and short talks, as well as a poster session, on :

  • granular matter,
  • soft materials,
  • dense active systems,
  • memory in disordered systems,
  • quantum disordered systems.

Upon registration, participants may submit abstracts for contributed talks, and early-career researchers in particular are strongly encouraged to do so.

Registration is mandatory with a deadline for abstract submission on February 27, 2026 (on a first-come-first-served basis within the limit of available seats). Confirmation for the selection of the oral contributions will be sent shortly after.

The fees will have to be paid via the platform Azur-Colloque by April 3rd, 2026 (the platform will be opened by the beginning of March).

 

VENUE

The meeting will take place at the CNRS institute Le Gulf Stream in Roscoff, from Monday May 4 to Wednesday May 6 (three full days).

Participants are thus expected to arrive in Roscoff on Sunday May 3 (afternoon), and to leave on Thursday May 7 (morning).
